Happy Halloween!!
This weekly cover is brought to you by MissPrintableStudio on Etsy. I purchased her Halloween Monthly Kit back in August just for this week.

Now, the kit is labeled as a “monthly” spread, but it’s really a “weekly”. The boxes are a perfect fit for the Classic Happy Planner. She gives a ton of stickers and extras in the kit. I didn’t use most of them because the image was the focus.

I actually did this spread back in the beginning of October. I was naive and didn’t take photos.

The first thing I do when I start a new spread is carefully remove both pages. Grasp the sheet at the top near the rings and pull downward. Go slowly as sometimes the page can catch and rip. You’ll hear a small “click” when the ring is free. It’s one of the most satisfying sounds in the world to me.

Once I have my single pages in front of me, I started by cutting out the washi strips. They are the purple witch hats and white spider webs. I had to cut them because they were two long. I did this by laying the piece where I wanted it and slicing off the excess with my precision knife.

I wanted to get the mural done next so I cut out the pieces and lined them up on the right hand side. I really like how 8 boxes form a Halloween picture.

I kept this one pretty simple with only a few lined boxes and decorations. The focus is really that spooky scene.

Supplies I Used
Paper
I like these over the Staples sheets because they work for both inkjet and laser printers. I know there is also some amazing papers on onlinelabels.com. For personal printing the matte or glossy papers are your cheapest bet. The weatherproof paper is my favorite though.

Printer
HP Officejet Pro 6830 e-All-In-One
I honestly do not recommend this printer. It’s my mother’s printer. It does a decent job but I’m going to invest in a photo printer.

Daiso Japan Precision Knife

Metal Ruler

I would recommend MissPrintableStudio. I bought 5 kits in all from her and found them to be beautiful and well designed. If you swing on over to my Instagram you can see the August kits I used.

Plan With Me // October 22-28

It’s the week before Halloween! This whole month has been pretty much Halloween themed but the spread this week was really cute. Again, I’m doing a Plan with Me in my Classic Happy Planner

The sticker kit is the October Weekly Kit by BEaYOUtiful Planning. It is a free printable and I loved the sheer number of sticker that came with it. I am a no-white space planner, so the more the better.

This kit comes with 4 pages: boxes, half boxes, headers, and decorations. It features a rich colors and cute patterns. The colors are orange, green, purple, and black. There are also glitter headers and hand lettered sayings.

I started this spread with my usual zig zag of full size boxes. I then added in matching half boxes with space to write. This kit comes with date cover headers, which are my favorite. Pink peonies just don’t belong in a Halloween spread. I also added list boxes over the notes until  it was fully covered.

I continued to fill in my planner with boxes, lists, and headers until all of the white spaced was filled. I really do prefer as little white space as possible. There are these cute little bow dividers that even filled in the little spaces.

Another successful weekly! I love this. The colors are just so much fun. I know it’s crazy busy and not for anyone, but I love it.

What pen do I use on a dark kit?
I have a white gel pen for the black and dark parts. The rest of the boxes work well with any kind of pen. I tested a glitter gel pen, ball point pen, staedtler fine liner, an inky pen, and a colored fine point myster pen. The glitter gel pen and ballpoint pen smeared if touched immediately. Give those time to dry. About a full minute. The other pens were dry in seconds, which was shocking. My favorite inky pen usually needs 30 seconds to dry.

Plan with Me // Oct 15 - 21

I received this weekly sticker kit for free in exchange for writing a review post.

I loved decorating my Happy Planner for this week. I have a lot going on this weekend with a planner meet up and my grandmother’s 96th birthday. I wanted to make the week special.

The sticker kit is Vampiress Vanessa by A & M Memories
I love the rich dark colors and spooky decorative stickers included.
Let’s dive right in and gets started on this Plan With Me (PWM).

I totally forgot to take pictures before I started cutting. Oopsie! This kit comes with 4 pages: boxes, headers, decorative boxes, and decorations/glitter headers. It features a beautiful vampire graphic in four skin tones; black, blood red, maroon and green colors; spooky graphics; and glitter.

With every kit I use, I do a zigzag with the decorative boxes. It’s just my thing. I also love that this kit included date covers. Nothing bugs me more than to have a gorgeous spread ruined by pink pastels at the top.

I just continue to fill in my planner with boxes and lists until most of the white spaced is filled. I prefer as little white space as possible. Even with filling up the whole week, I still had almost all of my headers and half of my boxes left over. I could easily use them in another spread.

I LOVE the way this turned out. It’s spooky and elegant. It’s defitely worth the price. I added a Halloween Countdown printable by Pink Pixel Graphics to help me keep track for my shop and decorating the house.

Printer
I have an inkjet printer at home but I had Staples print these stickers. I learned that if you bring your own paper, Staples will print it for FREE. Even color prints.
