This week it’s all about autumn. I live in Texas, so I don’t really get to experience this season. I like to pretend the seasons change and we don’t just go from 90 degrees to 40 this month. The Fall Leaves Laine Weekly Kit gives me a little bit of the Autumn spirit. This kit is brought to you by A & M Memories Designs.
My first impression of this kit was I absolutely love the colors of this kit. Navy and red-orange are really on trend this season. It’s has cute coffee cups, gorgeous plaid, and so many little glitter headers.
I went ahead and cut out all the stickers ahead of time. Previously I cut as I went, but I wanted to be able to lay the stickers out without committing to the placement immediately. As you can see, there are quite a few headers and small boxes to write on.
I started with the headers and date covers. They really are my favorite part of any kit. I will say I need to find an easier way to separate the sticker from its backing. You can see the dates lifting up after I mangled them.
I decided to try something new and put all my decorative boxes on the middle row. I really like how it turned out! The stickers are a little short for the Classic Happy Planner so I put them at the bottom of the box. It left me plenty of room to fill it with small boxes. The top is all list boxes and then some decorative boxes at the bottom.
To finish it off I just filled in the space with half boxes and decorative stickers.

I like these over the Avery sheets because they work for both inkjet and laser printers. I know there is also some amazing papers on onlinelabels.com. For personal printing the matte or glossy papers are your cheapest bet. The weatherproof paper is my favorite though.

What pen do I use on a dark kit?
I have a white gel pen for the black and dark parts. The rest of the boxes work well with any kind of pen. I tested a glitter gel pen, ball point pen, staedtler fine liner, an inky pen, and a colored fine point mystery pen. The glitter gel pen and ballpoint pen smeared if touched immediately. Give those time to dry. About a full minute. The other pens were dry in seconds, which was shocking. My favorite inky pen usually needs 30 seconds to dry.
